Its past midnight Suigetsu is making a commotion in a tavern. A bystander called him out. "Hey fish face, watch it or I'll break your face. Suigetsu arrogantly replied, "Who you calling fish face? Then he swings his Kubiribocho aiming to behead him. Just before it hits the man's neck, the tavern owner called it off saying "Please don't destroy my business, I beg you". Suigetsu lost interest in having a meaningless fight and just walked away. He slowly walked his way to the hot spring they were staying in. "Oh men Karin's gonna be pissed. Its way pass midnight and I'm drunk". In his mind his picturing a smug look of Karin's face. "Stupid bitch", he can't even tell her how he really feels because Karin is in love with Sasuke.

Meanwhile at their room, Karin is relaxing under a kotatsu. "Sasuke doesn't even notice me, Even after all the things I've done for him. I doubt that he even know that I love him.
-Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements, even if it leads nowhere?
Or would it be waste even if I knew my place, Should I leave it there?

Then suddenly the door slammed open. Karin being prepared took a kunai ready for defending herself. Suigetsu walked in, knocking everything around him. Karin screams and threw the kunai almost hitting Suigetsu's head. "You Idiot, stop scaring me like that. You reek of sake, are you drunk?". "What do you care bitch? Shouldn't you be drooling over Sasuke by now", Karin doesn't even know where Sasuke is.

Karin being annoyed by Suigetsu, ask him to leave her alone. Suigetsu teasingly ask "Why do you keep pushing me away?" "No particular reason idiot, I just don't like you" She replied. The he said "Maybe the truth is you really want me", Karin with an evil glare on her eyes punched him on his right cheek. Her heart pounds rapidly as Suigetsu moves closer. Karin thought "Why am I feeling this way, why with him?
-Don't, don't you want me?
Karin: No
-You know I can't believe it when I hear that you won't see me.
Karin: Oh my god, I would never go out with you.
-Don't, don't you want me?
Karin: How many times do I have to say no?
-You now I don't believe you when you said that you don't need me.
Karin: Disgusting.

Surprisingly Karin felt happy. "Why do I feel this way, is it possible that I like him". Suigetsu keeps trying to get close to Karin. They've been circling the kotatsu for a while now. Suigetsu grinning then started laughing, "Don't worry I'll take good care of you, I'm just glad you like me too". Confusingly she asks "What are you talking about idiot?" Suigetsu then grabs her, holding her tight. Hearts beating heavily, Suigetsu's voice shaking as he spoke those three little words "I love you". Staring into each other's eyes, like fireworks shining, sparking with emotion. Karin was baffled, lost for words he pushed Suigetsu away. "What will I do?" looking at him it reminded her of the times they fight over something so childish, realizing how poorly she treated him "Maybe we can give it a shot". She then leans toward Suigetsu, about to say the words that will change their relationship forever. Karin grasping the courage to say "I …" before she could finish Suigetsu said "You're not the prettiest girl but …" Karin kicked him in the stomach. Suigetsu squirming in pain "Why did you kick me?" Karin breathing heavily, she can't believe that she thought about giving Suigetsu a chance. "You're a drunken idiot, I hate you" Karin screamed at the top of her voice. Suigetsu hits the kotatsu looks at Karin and smiled "I love you for what you are"
-You don't have to be beautiful, to turn me on
Karin: don't make me hit you again.
-I just need your body baby from dusk till dawn.
Karin: screams "You perv" slapped Suigetsu on his left cheek.
-You don't need experience to turn me out
Karin: Get away from me
-You just leave it all up to me, I'll show what it's all about.
Karin: "ahhhh Idiotic pervert take this" punches his left eye.
They've been circling the kotatsu again.
-You don't have to rich to be my girl
Karin: you're the one who's broke
-You don't have to be cool to rule my world
Karin: You really are disgusting water boy

Karin: "Its time to stop this" she flipped the kotatsu.
Suigetsu's reflexes save him from being crushed by the kotatsu. Now standing up he walks slowly toward Karin trying to finish his sentence when he tripped over the kotatsu.

*Kiss*
Their lips met, it's like fireworks all over again. Afterwards Suigetsu pass out. The next morning "What happened to you?" Sasuke ask. Suigetsu with a black eye, bruised right cheek, and swollen red left cheek replied "I was drunk last night, I think I got into a fight". "You should stop going out by yourself you might get caught" a warning from Sasuke. As Karin relaxes at the hot spring she thought to herself "That idiot don't even remember what happened last night". She has a smile on her face that just won't go away "I'm glad he doesn't remember anything, but still having my first kiss like that, I'll treasure it always".
